I went to Border Books today just to look around and I walked out with an armload of journals. Blank, unlined, machine-sewn, hard bound journals with about 150 pages each. They are green linen on the outside and have bright white, 85 lbs. pages.

I liked them immediately because they are bigger than the other books I’ve used thus far and the pages are a bit heavier…especially heavier than the moleskine series. I also liked the price. They were originally something like $12 each…then down to $5.99 and my Poppa (that’s my Dad) bought them for me with the Borders 25% Off Educator Discount that is available this week.

I bought several of them…actually, more than several. I bought so many that they make my luggage too damn heavy for the airline weight limit! AAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGG!! Sooooo…if anyone wants to work in a brand new book, now would be the time to let me know!!! If you send me your address by Wednesday, October 18, 2006 I will send you a fee-free book, but no goodies. (I have no goodies here right now.) You’ll have 15 days to work in the book…write, doodle, draw, whatever.

I have work stored on my camera right now and I’ll post them as soon as I get home to this posting as well to the appropriate book gallery. The work that’s been done so far is incredible!!! I can’t wait to see the next round of books that are awaiting me at the post office.
