883369-503353-thumbnail.jpgThe Feria art call gallery is finally up!!! I’m sorry it took so long to get things posted. Between the personal stuff going on with me and the technical issues…I thought I’d never get this done!

Most of you will remember that I saw this lovely postcard while at The Loft Literary Center in downtown Minneapolis. I was very taken with the image and I swiped the remaining cards the day after the event. I sent cards all over the world…69 in total…and the gallery highlights all of the cards that I’ve gotten back thus far.

The artwork is wonderful…I got some fabric post cards, artists that altered the dancers dress, artist that gave the 883369-503363-thumbnail.jpgdancer voice, cards that place the dancer in total new surroundings, and cards that gave the dancer a companion. There are various techniques and products used on the cards…from collage to sewing, acrylic and oil, digital renditions, abstraction, decoupage and gem setting.

I love them all and hope you will enjoy seeing each other’s work.

If you still have a Feria card, please feel free to send it in. I will photograph and add it to the gallery as soon as it arrives! <wink> Oh, and even though I’m moving…my address won’t change:
