New Journals To Launch Soon

All the journals are out floating around...and several are completely full, so I think it's time to start some new ones.  I'll be getting more journals ready for shipment over the next week and I'll mail them the last week of February.  I have a lot of people on the mailing list, but will need more.  If you'd like to be the first one to work in a book, please send me an email with your address.

I am Minneapolis right now and spent the day at my favorite place in the world, The Loft Literary Center.  I put of several posters looking for book artists and journalists and writers.  I hope I get at least a few people interested in working in the journals.  My dream would be to do a show at The Loft.  An open house at Open Book...where people could check out a journal, go sit down with it...and enjoy it.  I hope that people wouldn't run off with them, but it's a chance I'm willing to take.  My goal is to have at least 50 journals, and the plan is to send them out for a full year.

Anyway, I put up 4 posters around the building...and hopefully they will generate some interest.  I'll keep you all posted.

Glad you have new things going on and I hope you get people interested. I emailed you a while ago about being interested - am I on your list? Also sent you a package a while ago and wondered if you got it? I have emailed you a few times so no reply so was wondering if my emails have been getting through

I am getting your emails, but it doesn't seem you get mine...Boooooo. I have been using varios way to connect to the web and don't think email has been consistent.

Yes, I got your goodies...and I loved them...I have them sitting on the edge of my work table -- I need to look at supplies...think about how to use them. Plus, I'm waiting for the rest of my studio to arrive in Los Angeles.

I promise to send you some mail art soon... probably a copy of the mini-zine I'm working on right now.

I am so glad you actually got them!!! I was worried they had got lost in the post. Shame your emails aren't getting through. Glad you like the bits - was aiming for variety.

Well I am working on a mini zine - I have been getting a good response from my Colour call on my blog so need to get busy with things to send back to people and am thinking about starting a journal just for my own to work through but would love to do a few pages in one of your journals.
